Are these treats ok to be fed on a regular basis? 

Yes, you are encouraged to give your dog treats daily. Follow the feeding suggestions on the back of each bag based upon your dog’s weight.  Rewarding good behavior with treats is a way to strengthen the bond between you and your dog.

How quickly will I notice a change in my dog when feeding the proper number of treats daily?

Every dog is different; your dog may respond to one variety of treat faster than another.  Typically, testimonials of Zen Puppy PEACE say that their dog shows a noticeable decrease in anxiousness about an hour after eating the treats.  Zen Puppy BEAUTY and Zen Puppy AGILE typically take several weeks to a month to begin showing noticeable differences in your dog’s appearance or mobility.

If I miss a day feeding my dog Zen Puppy Treats should I double the number of treats that I give my dog the next day?

You should only feed your dog the number of treats recommended on the back of the bag.  The suggested number of treats is based upon your dog’s weight.

What is the calorie content of Zen Puppy treats?

The BEAUTY, AGILE, and PEACE treats have 19 calories per treats. The new smaller Reward training treats have 4.75 calories.

Do you know the sodium content of the Zen Puppy AGILE, BEAUTY, and PEACE treats?

Sodium content for each treat is 3953 parts per million and each Reward treat has about 790 part per million.

Are these treats ok to feed to our dog after the expiration date?

We recommend that you always feed your dog treats that are fresh.  The bags are re-sealable so you can keep the treats fresh for your dog’s enjoyment.  The potency of the herbs diminishes after the expiration date.

Help! My dog ate the whole bag of Zen Puppy treats what do I do?

Make sure you give your dog plenty of water.  The excess ingestion of treats shouldn’t harm your dog but it may cause an upset stomach or diarrhea.  You will want to monitor your pet for any other symptoms and consult your Vet if a problem becomes apparent.

How old should my puppy be before I start him on a daily regime of treats?

Typically, your puppy should be 6 months old before beginning to feed any of the Zen Puppy with the exception of Zen Puppy Reward which you can begin using as a training aid when your puppy is 3 months old.

Can we give them different flavors of the treats at one time?

Yes you can mix the flavors but we recommend you not go over the recommended daily feeding suggestions on the back of each bag.
