What is the difference between traditional and scooping cat litters?

Because of the clay’s consistency, these solid clumps are able to be disposed of by flushing down the toilet. I'm having trouble removing the clumps from my scoopable litter. What could be wrong?

This problem usually occurs when there is not enough litter in the box. A depth of 2-3 inches is recommended in order for there to be enough litter to form clumps. After you have removed urine clumps, make sure that you are refilling the box to the 2-3 inches of litter so that the original level is always maintained. Also, Cedar Fresh? Scoopable litters will not clump properly if they are mixed with a non-clumping traditional form of litter.

If I am pregnant, is it unsafe for me to clean out the litter box?

Pregnant women and immunosuppressed persons should know that cat feces can transmit a parasite that causes a disease called toxoplasmosis. You should avoid cleaning out the litter box if possible (or use rubber gloves and wash your hands thoroughly). Unused cat litter poses no threat.
